Ich packe meine Beauty Bag und nehme mit…

Whether large or small, whether for travel or in a handbag and whether you call it a beauty bag, cosmetic bag or toiletry bag, every woman has a bag with numerous beauty products. Mine is still relatively small and fits in most of my handbags. When it comes to content, I try to limit myself to the bare essentials, but that's always a matter of definition. After all, you never know what the day has in store. So here's a brief overview of the contents of my cosmetic bag and what, in my opinion, no beauty bag should be without.

First of all, the mirror. It is an absolute beauty basic. I use a fairly simple model that folds out without a lot of frills. However, I'm currently toying with purchasing a folding mirror with integrated lighting and - attention! – Power bank! Brilliant, right? Second basic piece: the brush. Mine is also a folding model and therefore takes up little space. But it doesn't work without it, because the hair has to sit properly. That's why I usually carry a little hairspray around with me. I never, really never leave the house without lip balm, hand cream and a nail file. And true to the motto “Better save than sorry”, women always have a mini deodorant and a mini sunscreen with them in the summer.

I put on makeup every morning and want my makeup to stay put all day. This usually doesn't work without rework. That's why I always have compact powder and concealer in my bag. So-called blotting paper is a great helper against shiny areas of skin. The small, wafer-thin papers work like blotting paper and simply absorb the film of grease and oil on the face. It's so quick and inconspicuous that I even like to mess with it at my desk. During the day I put on my make-up quite discreetly, but when I go out from the office to the slopes in the evening, I like to step it up a bit. That's why I still have a dark eyeshadow, mascara and lip gloss in the beauty bag to quickly transform daytime makeup into evening-ready make-up.
