Real men use cream – facial care for men
Some gentlemen of creation still seem to be of the opinion that skin care is purely a woman's job and that they somehow appear "unmanly" if there is a cream jar in their bathroom. Yes, exactly, and perhaps the Earth is flat after all.
Just a few years ago, men like David Beckham , who openly stated that they value grooming , were often referred to as “ metrosexuals ”. Personally, I think it's stupid, because in my opinion, paying a little attention to your own appearance should be the rule and not the exception, which you also give your own name to. Especially since you men have it much easier when it comes to skin care than us women, because your skin is much more robust and therefore requires less attention. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take care of the care at all. That's why I have a few tips for you.
First things first: Stay away from the cosmetic products of your wives and girlfriends, they are not for you. Men's skin has a different structure than women's and therefore needs special care products . Specifically, these are mild, pH-neutral washing gels and light creams, fluids or gels. What exactly you use depends on your skin type.
· This is how you can recognize dry skin: feeling of tension, itching, flaky areas, redness of the skin
· This is how you can recognize oily skin: excessive sebum production, very shiny, coarse-pored skin, prone to blemishes
· This is how you recognize combination skin: oily and shiny in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), dry and tight in the eyes and cheeks
Dry skin requires a lot of moisture without any ifs and buts . Oily skin and combination skin also need them, but at the same time excess sebum production must be regulated, the greasy shine matted and possible skin impurities combated. And even if you're one of the lucky ones with normal facial skin, you should still use a mild cleanser and a light moisturizer. Men who have cracked the 30 mark can slowly but surely incorporate an anti-aging cream that is optimally tailored to their skin type into their care program. How do you recognize a good anti-aging cream? It ideally contains a sun protection factor, an antioxidant such as Q10 to protect against free radicals and hyaluronic acid for plenty of moisture.
